MIHAN is India's largest multi-modal logistics and infrastructure project, strategically located at the center of India. Spearheaded by Maharashtra Airport Development Company Ltd. (MADC), the project is envisioned to transform Nagpur into a major cargo and logistics hub, integrating aviation, special economic zones (SEZ), industrial development, and cutting-edge infrastructure. MIHAN India Limited (MIL) established in 2009, is a joint venture company between Maharashtra Airport Development Company Ltd. (MADC) and Airports Authority of India (AAI). MIL is responsible for the development, operation, and management of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur.
WHO WE ARE?
MIL is having over 16 years of rich and extensive civil aviation experience while operating and maintaining Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur.MIL is also to monitor the process of "Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT)" of DBAI Airport in order to integrate it with a larger objective of being a part of a Smart City comprising of an International Airport, Multimodal International Cargo Hub and a connected SEZ, with strong infrastructure and all-round connectivity.
Objectives:
As mandated, MIL has envisaged a long-term goal and a firm objective of Up-gradation, Modernization, Operation and Maintenance of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur through Public-Private Partnership (PPP) on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) basis and its seamless integration with the greater MIHAN Project.
